Training Update (Final Long Distance Run)

Today I ran my longest training run ever with a distance of 23 miles. I did try something new by using GU Energy Gel halfway through the run. Needless to say it really helped to have some energy because after 18 miles my body begins to loose energy fast and every step is a fight. this marks the end of long distance runs. The next run that exceeds 20 miles will be the Marathon itself. I hope i have what it takes to add that last 3.2 miles. Next weekend i will go back down to 12 miles followed the next weekend to 8 miles. the final week will consist of light jogs and eating alot of carbs and protien.
